The view towards the west shows most of the historical center of Lucca where some of the most typical features of the ancient town's landscape can be recognized. In the central part of the panorama the Torre delle Ore can be seen, and next to it the St. Michael Church's bell tower. To the left of the latter there is the Palazzo Ducale right after the unmistakable vault of the Baptistery of Saint John and then Sanit Martin Cathedral.
